The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) has agreed a new strategic partnership with DataFactory, naming the firm as its official provider of statistics.

The deal commences with the 2013 Gold Cup, in which all game stats will be registered and published by DataFactory. Fans that visit the official CONCACAF website during matches will be able to access GameCast, a tool which will allow them to follow the events of each game in an interactive format.

Enrique Sanz, general secretary of CONCACAF, said: “In DataFactory we have found a strategic partner that can provide us with an innovative statistics product, complete with user friendly interfaces structured to give fans relevant and immediate information during games. This information will also be instrumental for our Technical Study Group (TSG) in their detailed analysis of our games and tournaments.”

DataFactory is already established in the football statistics market through its existing partnerships with the likes of the South American Football Association (CONMEBOL), the Mexican national side, the Argentine and Chilean Football Federations, as well as a number of clubs on the American continent. Cesar Galaviz Valenzuela, DataFactory regional manager, added: “We are motivated to continue the work we have been undertaking in the United States, Mexico and every other country in the Caribbean, Central and North America, in tandem with the enormous growth of football.”
