Eniola Aluko: Africa needs more Soccerex seminars

The Nigerian-born British footballer called for more Soccerex seminars in Africa to help improve the game

Eniola Aluko, who represented Great Britain during the 2012 London Olympics, has called for more Soccerex conferences to help improve the game on the African continent.

Aluko told Goal.com that the time has come for Soccerex to think about organising more seminars so that more African countries can benefit the knowledge of adding value to the game.

“I am happy that this seminar is coming at a time when Africa should rise up and start a revolution about how the game of football can move to the next level.

“That is why I am advocating for more of such seminars in African countries so that the game can improve on all ramifications.

“Soccerex is a big brand and cause a change in the way football is run in the African continent.

“The potentials are there, but there must a systematic growth in the way money is generated so that the game can turn into a big brand.

“And African football associations should also find a way of leveraging on the huge potentials that is presented with the manpower and talent of footballers in the continent.

“Money is required to be successful in the game and Soccerex can provide the platform for African football administrators to enrich their knowledge of doing the business using the game,” Aluko added.
