CSKA Moscow's Igor Akinfeev has been named the top goalkeeper of the 2012-13 season by Goal readers.
CSKA lifted both the Russian Premier League title and the Russian Cup last season, and Akinfeev capped club success with individual honours too, after being named the league's player of the season.
The Russian, who recorded 38.21 per cent of the vote conducted by readers of Goal International, finishes ahead of Manuel Neuer, Samir Handanovic, David de Gea and Gianluigi Buffon. To hear our reaction to your vote, watch the video at the top of the page.
We will name our 50 best players from last season on July 29, and Akinfeev will hope to represent the goalkeeper's union in this year's list, following Iker Casillas' third place finish in last year's Goal 50.
