The Spain international has yet to find a new club since parting company with Barcelona at the end of last season but his representative is remaining upbeatVictor Valdes will have signed for a "big team" by Christmas, according to the goalkeeper's agent.
The Spain international has been without a club since the expiration of his contract at Barcelona this summer, with a proposed move to Monaco having fallen through because of the knee injury that ruled the 32-year-old out of Brazil 2014.
With Valdes still undergoing rehabilitation, he appears no nearer to finding a new home, but his representative, Gines Carvajal, is not in the least bit worried.
"One can sign at any time and I'm sure we'll see Valdes at a big team before Christmas," he told Cadena Ser's 'El Larguero'.
"The recovery is going well, but we do now yet know when he will be cleared [to return to action]."
Valdes came through the youth team ranks at Barcelona and spent 12 years in the first team before deciding against signing a contract extension last season.
