The Ghanaian striker has joined the newly-promoted Swedish top division side and is “very excited and enjoying life there already”
Ghanaian striker King Osei Gyan has signed for newly-promoted Swedish Allsvenskan side Halmstads.
Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal that the deal was finalised on Tuesday after the gangling striker had trained with the side for a week.
“I’m very excited and very, very happy. I have been enjoying life here this week and cooperation with the team and coaches,” Gyan told HBK’s website.
Gyan, 25, was groomed at the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and has also featured for Fulham and Germinal Beerschot.
He spent three years in Norway where he led the attack for Viking and was instrumental in many of their successes.
