The Adecoligaen side are eager to sign the Ghanaian forward although he has told Goal he wants to leave Norway to try his hands elsewhere
FK Bryne coach Gaute Larsen is still hoping to snap up Ghanaian striker King Osei Gyan, despite the forward’s interest to leave Norway.
Larsen wanted to sign Gyan and Reuben Ayarna, who was playing for Hacken but the latter moved to the Major League Soccer whilst the former is yet to make his intentions known.
“We still have time, and if King Osei Gyan is going to change his mind, it will be nice for us,” Larsen told Bt.no. “Aside football, Gyan has also gained an excellent reputation as a very good and friendly person.”
Larsen added: “It is likely he will sign for newly-promoted Swedish side Halmstad.”
The former Fulham player had told Goal Ghana he is not rejecting Bryne, but only wants to move outside Norway.
