Malaga woo Manchester City for Ghana striker Donyoh

The La Liga outfit have officially approached the Citizens to have Ghanaian youngster Godsway Donyoh on loan this season

Malaga have approached Manchester City for the services of Ghanaian teenage striker Godsway Donyoh.

Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal that the Spanish La Liga side’s sporting director Armando Husillos, a good friend of City boss Manuel Pelligrini, was at the Etihad Stadium on Friday and took advantage of the visit to request the availability of the player on loan.

Malaga need a second striker, wingers and an attacking midfielder and are ready to have Donyoh, Marcos Lopez, John Guidetti as well as Stevan Jovetic on loan to help them improve upon their standings in the Spanish top flight.

The 19-year-old Right to Dream Academy graduate spent last season on loan at Swedish side Djurgarden where he scored against Allsvenskan giants Hacken and Helsingborg.
