The Ghana captain could be heading to Turkey in January as talks between his club and Trabzonspor over a €20 million move is expected to start soon
Former Turkish champions Trabzonspor are preparing a €20 million bid for Ghana international Asamoah Gyan come the January winter transfer, according to Haber 7.
Gyan’s name has come up as a potential winter signing at the request of the club’s technical committee who have monitored his exploits and seems convinced about his pedigree.
Fenerbahce and Galatasaray at various times have also made their intentions of signing him known, but it seems the bid from Trabzonspor who also have Florent Malouda will be too difficult to resist.
Meanwhile, an unnamed French club has also expressed interest in signing Ghana’s key goal poacher who has won the goal king in UAE for the past two seasons.
Talks between Al Ain and Trabzonspor are expected to start soon.
