The Vecchio Balordo will make an official bid for the talented Ghanaian youngster in the coming days
Italian Serie A side Genoa will make an official bid for Parma and Juventus midfielder Yussif Chibsah Raman who spent the just ended season on loan at Sassuolo.
The 20-year-old enforcer was in fine form playing a total of 28 games for the Stadio Alberto Braglia outfit scoring twice which has caught the eyes of several clubs in the Serie A including Udinese and Sampdoria
Genoa manager Luigi De Canio sent scouts to first watch the Juventus starlet when he won the man-of-the-match award and scored for Sassuolo in their 4-0 win over Varese in the Italian Serie B on last October, and also during their epic clash against Livorno.
Emerging reports from the Italian media are that Genoa will make an official bid of two million Euros for the talented Ghanaian youngster as they seek to beef up their team.
“I am aware of the Genoa interest but it all depends on my agent and my parent clubs and I am not sure if Parma will agree to their bid as I have not played for them,” Chibsah told Goal Ghana.
“As a player when offers start coming it means you are doing well. My main aim is to play more regularly as I did at Sassuolo this season. Sassuolo have also expressed interest in keeping me for one more season.”
Chibsah was one of the main reasons why Sassuolo booked their first ever Serie A ticket this season in their 90-year history with some fantastic displays in the middle of the field.
The former Bechem United player was signed by Sassuolo in 2008 and spent just one season there before Juventus bought him after which Parma got 50 percent of his right as part of the Sebastian Giovinco buy-back deal.
