The midfielder will move to Belgium until the end of the season, and could be signed permanently in the summer as he looks to help the Belgian champions to another title
The Dutchman will provide competition in the centre of midfield at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, and commercial manager Herman Van Holsbeeck was happy his side have brought a player of his ilk into the team.
"We are thrilled to have a player of the calibre of De Zeeuw to Anderlecht," he told reporters at a press conference.
"He is an ex-international and has all the qualities to strengthen our midfield."
Anderlecht are currently eight points clear at the top of the Jupiler League as they look to secure back-to-back domestic titles.
