Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim has warned Wesley Sneijder that the Istanbul giants could opt to pull out of the race to sign the Inter midfielder if he thinks he is too big for the Turkish champions.
Both clubs have already reached an agreement over a winter transfer, but the Dutchman is in no rush to make a decision about his future, with deadline day just under a fortnight away.
"Nobody should think that they are bigger than this club. Not me, not the club president, and not those who could join the club this transfer window," the former Turkey boss said at a press conference when asked about Sneijder.
"We do not want to sign any players who think they are more important than Galatasaray. This is one of the key principles at this club and it is not up for debate."
Galatasaray face stiff competition from Liverpool in the race for Sneijder's signature, as revealed by Goal.com earlier this week.
