Arbeloa: Nobody doubts Cristiano Ronaldo's commitment to Real Madrid

The Spain international is adamant everybody at the club will remain supportive of the attacker, while also taking the time to praise Jose Mourinho

Alvaro Arbeloa has stressed that nobody at Real Madrid will doubt Cristiano Ronaldo's commitment to the club.

The Portugal international recently revealed that he is unhappy with life at the Liga champions, but Arbeloa believes that his comments will not change the fans' affection for the attacker.

"Nobody is going to doubt his dedication and commitment to Real Madrid. I think that the fans are very grateful to Cristiano for his hard work and for his goals," the wing-back was quoted as saying by ABC.

"Cristiano must know that Real Madrid's fans support him. He can't doubt that because it's been shown to him day after day. He's not by himself out there."

The full-back then went on to praise Jose Mourinho for instilling a winning mentality on the Madrid team.

"Mourinho's a winner," he explained.

"That's what has enabled him to achieve so much in so many countries with different clubs. That's his main quality. And he knows how to bring that across very well. He's made winners out of all of us. He's got an exceptional winning mentality, which is out of the ordinary.

"He's a coach who, tactically, works a lot with us. He always makes the right decisions, with substitutions, and with anything that has to be changed during a match when things aren't going well."

Mourinho has won La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Supercopa with Madrid since his arrival at the club in 2010.
