Cristiano Ronaldo: It would be 'fantastic' to win another Ballon d'Or
The Portugal international told Goal.com that he has worked hard all season to win both team and individual trophies and now hopes he will be named the world's top player

Cristiano Ronaldo has his eyes on the Ballon d'Or award after enjoying collective and individual success with Real Madrid last season.
Los Merengues are currently touring the United States ahead of the start of the new Liga campaign, and ran out 5-1 winners over AC Milan in a friendly at the Yankee Stadium in New York on August 9.
Ronaldo admitted that at the start of last season he targeted winning as many trophies as possible for Madrid and himself, but now he has his gaze firmly set on winning the Ballon d'Or.
After losing out on the award to Barcelona forward Lionel Messi for the past two years, Ronaldo is hoping he has done enough to be presented with the honour this year.
"It would be fantastic [to win the trophy]," Ronaldo told Goal.com.
"It would mean a lot, I've worked all season for that to win both collective and individual trophies."
“My immediate goals are to work to the fullest with my team in order to fight for all the available championships. I don’t prioritise one because I want to conquer however many I can, but to do that we’ll have to fight our hardest and do it with humility," the Portuguese forward said.
Ronaldo secured his first Ballon d'Or in 2008 after leading Manchester Untied to an impressive double, winning both the Premier League and the Champions League.
Earlier this week, the 27-year-old was named the top player in the world in the Goal.com 50.
