Midfielder Michael Essien was once again an unused substitute at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea walloped Cardiff City 4-1. Emmanuel Frimpong was not in the Arsenal squad as they hammered Norwich City 4-1 at Emirates.
Young striker Jeffrey Schlupp was an unused substitute for Leicester City who beat Huddersfield Town by two goals to one at the King Power Stadium. At the Oakwill Stadium, winger Albert Adomah Dankwah grabbed a brace as Middlesbrough lose by three goals to two against Barnsley.
In the Skrill Conference League, striker Kwesi Appiah came in as a 46th minute substitute and scored twice for league leaders Cambridge United who beat Salisbury 2-0.
Ghana target Karim Bellarabi was on target as Eintracht Braunschweig lose by three goals to two to Schalke. KP Boateng was not in the Schalke team due to injury.
In the Bundesliga II, Charles Takyi came into the game in the 57th minute as his Energie Cottbus side recorded a barren draw with Union Berlin at home.
Sulley Muntari played 86 minutes for Milan who beat Udinese 1-0 at the San Siro. Compatriot Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu was an unused substitute for the Bianconerri.
Midfielder Yussif Chibsah Raman was an unused substitute for Sassuolo who beat Parma 2-1 at the Citta Del Tricolre. Afriyie Acquah was not in the Parma match day squad. Kwadwo Asamoah also played 79 minutes and made way for Sebastian Giovinco as Juventus lost 4-2 away to Fiorentina.

In the Serie B, youngster Amidu Salifu played the last 12 minutes for Modena who thrashed Reggina 3-0. Mase Addo Welbeck was also an unused substitute for Brescia who defeated Cittadella 4-1. Isaac Toah Ntow did not make the Brescia match day squad.
Left-back Masahudu Alhassan played full time for Latina who beat Pescara 1-0 away.
Andre Ayew played 90 minutes and hit the post as Marseille go down by a lone goal away to OJ Nice. Jordan Ayew was an unused substitute.
Kwame Quansah played 80 minutes whilst striker Matthew Amoah also came into the game in the 46th minute as Heracles Allmelo drew 1-1 with Nec. Ghanaian-born Fred Benson also netted a brace at the Itjessdelta Stadion and lasted the entire duration as Pec Zwolle thrashed ADO Den Haag 6-1.
Former Ghana Under-23 midfielder Bernard Yao Kumordzi scored for Genk in the 27th minute as they beat visiting Lierse 4-0 at the Cristal Arena. Winger Frank Opoku Acheampong came in for Bruno in the 71st minute as Anderlecht beat bottom side Mons 2-0 at Stade Charles Tondreau.
Abdul Yakinu Iddi played the last nine minutes for Mechelen who beat KV Oostende by three goals to nothing. Jerry Vandam also played full throttle for the winning side.
Daniel Opare was an unused substitute for Standard Liege who drew 2-2 with Charleroi.
Striker King Osei Gyan was on target for his side Viking who were defeated 4-3 against Tromso in a thrilling game at Alfheim Stadion. Former Gomoah Fetteh Feyernoord winger Ernest Asante came into the game in the 71st minute for IK Start who lost at home to league leaders Rosenborg BK.
Both Mahatma Otoo and George Koomson were unused substitute for Sogndal who were beaten by two goals to one by Valeranga. Joseph Baffo played 57 minutes for the away side.
Mohammed Abubakari played full time for Atvidabergs who defeated Helsingborg by three goals to nothing. Striker David Accam also lasted the entire duration for the winning side whilst former Medeama midfielder Emmanuel Dogbe was an unused substitute.
Elsewhere in the Allsvenskan, former national Under-17 striker Nasiru Mohammed played full throttle as Hacken drew goalless with Elfsborg at the Boras Arena. Godsway Donyoh, Yussif Chibsah and Daniel Amartey will play for Djurgardem against Kalmar this evening.
