The third week fixtures of the Ghana Premier League produced some sterling results as majority of the clubs won at home whilst others also drew with few loses
Berekum Chelsea drew one all with Medeama at the Golden City Park with Godbless Asamoah scoring the equaliser for the FA Champions.
In Accra, Daniel Kodie scored for Liberty who beat King Faisal 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Kpando Stadium also saw Heart of Lions defeating Amidaus Professionals 2-1. Nana Egyir grabbed a brace whilst Daniel Awuley got a consolation for Amidaus.
Meanwhile, Torfik Ayola was also on target as Bechem United beat Dwarfs by one goal to nothing at the Bechem Park. Francis Adjei also scored for Ashgold at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi as they beat Wa All Stars 1-0.
Elsewhere in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi Asante Kotoko dug deep and finally beat visiting New Edubiase by an 87th minute Kwabena Edusei penalty. Edubiase played the last 10 minutes with 10 men as they had a red card.
Also at the Tema Sports Stadium, Accra Hearts of Oak beat Inter Allies 3-2. Striker Winful Cobbinah scored twice whilst Selassie Adjei added the third one. George Awutor and Illiasu Alhassan found the net for the debutants.
At the Essipong Stadium on Saturday home side Sekondi Hasaacas were beaten 1-0 by Aduana Stars through a Kofi Owusu strike
