Ghanaian-born American striker Silas Twumasi was once again on the score sheet as his side South Bronx United beat DUSC 3-0 to remain on top of the American Junior Major League Soccer.
Twumasi, 16, has now netted eight goals in five games for the Bronx-based side and he is leading the goal king race again after winning it last season.
In the Randall Island Sports Stadium in New York, Twumasi showed his striking instincts by breaking the deadlock in the 65th minute. The striker was played through by Jose Lacayo before lobbing the ball passed the advancing goalkeeper into the net.
The goal opened up the game for the league leaders as Sheku Conteh added the second in the 75th minute with Bakary Coulibaly putting the game beyond reach with a third in the 79th minute.
The goal machine has not hidden his intention to play for the Black Starlets of Ghana despite interest from the Yankees.
