Hearts of Oak have served notice they are in the process of revamping the team with the sole aim of winning the domestic top flight next season.
The Accra giants last won the Ghana Premier League in 2009 and since then they have struggled to maintain a respectable spot on the log.
The CEO of the Phobians, Fred Crentsil, has confirmed to Goal.com Ghana they are studying the coach’s report that will inform them on the type of players to buy ahead of the new season.
“We have set our sight on next season to win the league,” Crentsil said. “Our fans are hungry for titles and we have to satisfy them.”
“The coach has submitted some names for us to consider so we’re putting measures in place to meet his requirement. You’ll see a different Hearts of Oak next season,” he stated.
Crentsil, who failed to disclose names of some of the players they are considering, said the new signings will cover the defense, midfield and striking departments of the team.
“Very soon our fans will hear what we have for them. We mean business and Hearts will look different in the new season.”
The Rainbow Boys finished fourth last season behind Asante Kotoko, Ashanti Gold and Medeama.
