Ghana international Michael Essien will find out about his future at AC Milan in the next two weeks.
Italian agent Fabrizio Ferrari said a meeting between Essien’s agent and new coach Inzaghi will be held before the transfer window ends to close the page on the ex-Chelsea midfielder's case.
“I spoke today with the agent of the Ghanaian,” he told SportItalia, “and he said before anything that he wanted to speak with (Milan coach Pippo) Inzaghi and begin preseason with Milan before figuring out where they go next.
“I think within a fortnight, we will meet to understand the situation. He'll take fifteen days to figure out how he will fit in this new project.
“He is a player with great international experience. If healthy, I think he can still give a lot.”
Essien joined the Serie A side in January after a torrid season at Stamford Bridge following a loan stint at Real Madrid.
