Dauda, Gyan return, Essien & Kwarasey out against Korea

Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has been moved to the left-back role as Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari get to start with Dauda in the post
Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has benched goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey and given Orlando Pirates’ out-of-favour Fatau Dauda a starting role against South Korea tonight.

Al Ain goal poacher Asamoah Gyan, who missed the game against the Netherlands, is back in the starting line-up relegating Jordan Ayew to the substitutes’ bench.

Dauda will be shielded by Harrison Afful on the right, Kwadwo Asamoah on the left, John Boye and Jonathan Mensah in central defence whiles Rabiu Mohammed, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Sulley Muntari control affairs in the middle with Majeed Waris and Ayew helping up front.
