The Black Satellites of Ghana took a significant step towards qualification for the Africa Youth Championship by beating Sierra Leone 2-0 in the first leg on Saturday.
The Ghanaians gathered their forces and goals from Dennis Tetteh and Prosper Kassim were enough to seal the deal for Coach Sellas Tetteh’s men who are gunning for a place in next year’s tournament in Senegal.
The Black Satellites thrilled the away fans with a lot of ball possession that put the game in their control from the blast of the whistle.
Ghana have taken a huge step in their quest to reach the final qualifying round against the winner of the Rwanda and Gabon tie.
The second leg will be played in Ghana on May 25.
