The Hunters will have to play their all-important home game away from home in the regional derby following a sanction, but Okrah remains unfazed and believes a win is theirs
The FCP Premier League’s leading goalscorer Augustine Okrah has served notice that Bechem United will have no mercy on relegation-threatened Aduana Stars.
Bechem United will host their regional rivals at the Golden City Park in Berekum instead of their favourite Fosu Gyeabour II Park on Thursday due to a home match ban.
Stadium owners Berekum Chelsea have a game against Dwarfs on Wednesday which has necessitated the need to push the game a day after.
Bechem United will be welcoming Noah Martey and Emmanuel Asante from injury whiles Okrah is expected to take his position having missed out in the defeat to Hearts of Oak through suspension.
“We’re expecting a full house to rub more salts in Aduana’s wounds because all our players will be available for selection,” Okrah told Goal Ghana. “We will do our maximum best to come out victorious no matter what on Thursday because the league log is gradually becoming scary. One defeat can push you down into the drop zone so we will be merciless against Aduana.”
“We won 2-1 at their home grounds and hope to make it a double over them this term,” he added.
Okrah currently leads the race for the goalking gong with 12 goals in the league and has scored 16 in all competitions.
