Muntari: I’ll play for Hearts of Oak

The 20-year-old midfielder says playing for the Rainbow Club will be dream come true besides the fact that it will open doors for him to move to Europe to ply his trade

Liberty Professionals attacking midfielder Tamimu Muntari has revealed his intention to sign for Hearts of Oak if the Phobians table a good offer for his services.

The ex-Mighty Jet and Wa All Stars middleman noted that moving to the former Africa champions will enhance his CV as well as boost his chances of traveling to Europe.

“I’m ready to play for Hearts Of Oak because donning the Phobia jersey is one of my dreams I have to fulfill as a footballer, but all will depend on the offer Hearts will table down,” Muntari revealed to Goal Ghana.

“Because playing for a big club like Hearts of Oak will enrich your status as a footballer in the European market.”

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who was recently invited to the provisional squad of Silas Tetteh's Black Satellite, joined the ‘Scientific Soccer Lads’ from Ghana Premier League side Wa All Stars this season with two years left in his current contract.

He has scored three goals in 21 outings for the Dansoman-based side in the ongoing FCP Premier League.
