The talented striker of Ghanaian descent has declared that he wants to represent the west African side rather than The Netherlands
In-form Dutch-born attacker Elvis Manu has finally declared his intention to play for Ghana instead of The Netherlands.
The 20-year-old Feyenoord frontman, who is on loan at Cambuur, has been one of the best winter signings in the Dutch Eredivisie, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
“I want to play for Ghana and I am hoping for an invitation from Ghana,” Manu told AD on Tuesday. “It has always been my dream to defend the colours of Ghana as I feel Ghanaian.”
Born in Dordrecht to Ghanaian parents, Manu is considered as the best young striker in the Dutch league. The star striker will return to Feyenood in the summer.
