The Ghanaian who has spent five years in the Swedish league has moved back to the American top flight
Ghana midfielder Reuben Ayarna has joined MLS side Colorado Rapids after ending his stay with BK Hacken.
The Boston University graduate joined the Swedish side last season but only made cameo appearances.
“I'm here just trying something different,” Ayarna told the club’s official website. “I've been playing in Sweden for five years so I was looking for a change. I was considering interest from here and my agent called me about Colorado I was like, 'okay, I'll give it a tryout and see where it goes.'”
“I'm happy to be here. So far, so good," added the Ghanaian, who is actually a product of Boston College.
Ayarna is expected to start some of the pre-season friendlies.
