Maxwell Konadu has released his final squad for the 2014 CHAN tournament which kicks off in South Africa next week
Ghana’s 23-man squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship - CHAN tournament has been named.
After a number of days in Windhoek, Namibia, Maxwell Konadu has finally settled on his squad for the 16-nation tournament which starts on January 11, 2014.
The biggest casualty is Hearts of Oak midfielder, Moro Abubakar who failed to make the cut.
However, league champions and current leaders, Asante Kotoko can boast of the largest contingent with eight players in the squad.
The local Black Stars who recently won the WAFU tournament in Kumasi have been paired in group C with Libya, Ethiopia and Congo.
The CHAN tournament is reserved for only home-based players of the various member countries.
