The 23-year-old will be out of action till late January next year after picking a knee injury on Tuesday in the World Cup play-off against Egypt
Olympic Marseille winger, Andre Dede Ayew, has been ruled out of action for the next eight weeks after injuring his knee.
The 23-year-old picked the injury during Ghana’s World Cup qualifying play-off against Egypt earlier this week.
Ayew who was substituted in the 55th minute is suffering from an “outer unstable meniscal tear" which will require a surgical operation on Monday, a Marseille statement confirmed.
Being Olympic Marseille’s best player this season, Ayew’s absence will be a big blow to the former French champions.
