Ayew urged to leave Marseille

A renowned French sports journalist has stated that Andre Ayew is too big for the Stade Velodrome side and must find a top club come the next transfer period

French sports journalist Daniel Riolo has urged Olympique Marseille’s talisman Andre Ayew to ditch the Stade Velodrome outfit and move to a bigger club.

The 23-year-old has shown that he is far above the level of the French Ligue 1 outfit in terms of quality and this is the second time in recent weeks that a high profile media man has urged him to leave.

“Andre Ayew is the best in the Marseille team. He scores, he plays in the middle, in front, and he is always available. He must quickly move to pursue his career elsewhere.” Riolo wrote on his blog.

“He deserves a big European club. The Ghana international is one of the few who actually have the level.”

Clubs such as Napoli, Liverpool, Newcastle and Arsenal have all expressed interest in signing the Ghanaian.
