The coach-turned-sports journalist has named the Ghanaian winger as the best player in the Stade Velodrome setup
A former coach of RC Paris and now sports journalist Jean-Michel Larque has lauded Ghana international Andre Ayew, describing him as the best player in the setup of Olympique Marseille.
Ayew was the man-of-the-match on Wednesday in the Uefa Champions League game as his side lost to Napoli.
“Ayew is the only high level player in the OM squad,” Larque told RMCsports.fr. “Undoubtedly it was the best match OM have played this season in the Champions League. This game proves that Marseille is on the right track.”
“For now, Andre Ayew is the best OM player. He has good years ahead of him, he has shown all these while that he is better than everyone at Marseille.”
The talented winger has been on the cards of Napoli, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle and might choose to make a move next year.
