TEAM NEWS: Dauda in post as Muntari and Essien start for Ghana

Essien and Muntari are starting in midfield for the Black Stars against Egypt as Dauda gains favour over veteran Kingson to man the post
Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien is partnering Sulley Muntari in midfield for Ghana against Egypt in the first-leg play-off for the 2014 World Cup.

Coach Kwesi Appiah favoured Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Fatau Dauda to man the post whiles captain Asamoah Gyan pairs up with Spartak Moscow striker Majeed Waris up-front in the crucial game at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Rashid Sumaila and Jerry Akaminko are starting in central defence with Samuel Inkoom and Daniel Opare flanking them. Olympique Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew is starting as usual alongside Kwadwo Asamoah.
