Ghana winger Christian Atsu made his Vitesse Arnhem debut on Sunday as his side lost 1-2 to Feyenoord in the Dutch Eridivisie.
The 21-year-old was introduced into the game in the 77th minute and contributed to Vitesse’s consolation goal which came in the 83rd minute through Mike Havenaar.
The former Porto player is loan at Vitesse from Premier League giants, Chelsea.
He was yet to kick a ball for Peter Bosz’s side because of some documentation issues.
However, with all the paper work problems sorted out now, he is expected to make his way into the starting line-up after the international break.
Christian Atsu is part of the Ghana squad preparing to take on Egypt in the 2014 WC play-off on October 15.
