The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder says he has never considered leaving TP Mazembe for the Ghanaian League despite his lack of active playing time
TP Mazembe midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei has denied ever thinking of returning to the Ghana Premier League after failing to break into the starting line-up of the African giants.
The 27-year-old left for the Congolese club last year after winning the MVP award in the 2011-12 season.
“I have never considered leaving Mazembe. I know I am not getting playing time but I have accepted the challenge and ready to fight hard.
“I have never spoken to anyone about a possible return so this development in the media baffles me," Nii Adjei told Kumasi-based Metro FM.
Nii Adjei is part of several Ghanaian players in the stable of the Caf Confederations Cup campaigners the Ravens.
