The former AC Milan midfielder is serving notice that Saturday’s clash between Schalke and Bayern will be strictly business and would not give any preferential treatment to Jerome
Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has said he is not going to treat his younger brother with kid gloves as they see each other on the opposite side of the pitch in Saturday’s Bundesliga tie.
Jerome’s Bayern Munich clash with Schalke O4, where Kevin-Prince plays, and it will be the first time the two brothers will square off since the Ghanaian returned to the Bundesliga this summer.
The former AC Milan star said it is going to be a keenly contested game among them and within regulation time Jerome remains an opponent.
“On Saturday we will have no brothers for 90 minutes,” the 26-year-old said Wednesday night after their 3-0 win against Steaua Bucharest in the Uefa Champions League group stage.
“I've already told him. I'll do it.”
Kevin-Prince described the encounter as “a huge thing for us that we can play against each other at such a high level..”
“The rest we will see,” KP Boateng added.
