The Danish side has confirmed that the Black Satellites left-back was successful during trials and would be signed next January
The 19-year-old defender who has since returned to Ghana was in Denmark for a two-week trial.
“Arkorful has delivered a really, really positive impression, and now we have to see how we should go ahead with it. He has a contract in Ghana and has returned home, and it has always been understood that the January window was more relevant for us in relation to Jeremiah,” the club's chief scout Peter Christiansen told Ekstra.
“It may also be that it is possible to get him up here again at the end of the fall.”
Christiansen added: “Randers already have an African on their left-back in the form of Adama Tamboura from Mali. He is one of the best left backs in the league, and buying Arkorful is not an indication that we are dissatisfied with Tamboura.”
“Left back is a difficult place to develop players, and it is also difficult to find players to play with the right quality. We are thinking about what will happen the day Tamboura is no longer here.”
