The former Zamalek striker has advised the Pharaohs to be more organised if they want to qualify to Brazil 2014 at the expense of the Black Stars of Ghana

Former Egypt striker Ahmed Hossam, also known as Mido, says the Pharaohs pairing with the Black Stars of Ghana in the World Cup play-offs is tricky.

Egypt, Africa’s most successful football team, were drawn against Ghana on Monday as 10 teams enter the final phase of the qualifiers to determine Africa’s five representatives.

“We have to be much more solid and more organised if we want to beat a strong side like Ghana.

“They are full of pace upfront and well organized,” the 30-year-old said on Twitter.

He added that Ghana are a strong side which makes their (Egypt) chances 50-50.

“Egypt must go and fight for a good result away from home, good luck to Bob Bradley.”

Mido who recently retired from football played for the Pharaohs between 2001 and 2009.

Ghana will host the first leg on the weekend of October 11-15 while the return leg is scheduled for November 15-19.
