The former AC Milan midfielder has registered his first goal in his Bundesliga return after powering Schalke to victory over Mainz 05
Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng’s first half goal was enough to hand Schalke 04 an away win at Mainz 05.
The 26-year-old scored in the 34th minute to help Jens Keller’s side to record their second victory of the season.
Boateng has used only two games to establish his immense importance to the Royal Blues after joining them from Milan last two weeks.
He was very instrumental in his debut match for Schalke which ended in a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
More will be expected of the former Borussia Dortmund player when Schalke 04 take on Steaua Bucuresti in the Uefa Champions League this Wednesday.
