Japan midfielder Shingi Kagawa believes their friendly match with Ghana will be a good test for trhem as they continue with their preparations for the 2014 World Cup.
Alberto Zaccheroni’s side who recently beat Guatemala 3-0 were the first to qualify to join hosts Brazil for the global showpiece.
But the Black Stars are still chasing qualification and will use the match to prepare for the play-offs which start next month for ten teams on the African continent.
"I'm looking forward to the game. They've always been physically strong, and that's something we always see in Africa teams.
"Against Ghana we'll be able to get players moving, so we want to see if we can take advantage of that in our attack, and if that goes well we'll see some chances on goal,” the former Borussia Dortmund player told Goal Asia.
Ghana will be playing with a weakened team after most of the top stars including Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah and Andre Ayew withdrew from the match.
