The 26-year-old played his first match just a day after his transfer and helped Schalke to post a 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen
Ghana midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng’s return to the German top flight started on a good note after helping Schalke 04 to beat Bayer Leverkusen.
The 26-year-old lasted 84 minutes in his debut match at the Veltins-Arena and was replaced by German international, Christian Clemens.
That was Schalke’s first victory of the season after drawing one and losing the remaining matches in their three previous outings.
The Ghana international sealed the deal from AC Milan on Friday, and made his debut the following day.
His next assignment is Ghana’s 2014 World Cup qualifier against Zambia in Kumasi on September 6.
