The Olympique Marseille duo will now make themselves available for the Black Stars after taking a six-month break over various reasons

Andre and Jordan Ayew have announced their decision to play for Ghana again after taking a temporary break.

The Olympic Marseille duo wrote to the Ghana FA on Friday to confirm their availability for the Black Stars within 24 hours after Kevin-Prince Boateng also announced his comeback.

The Ayew brothers decided to quit the national team in February over strained relationship between them and the national team handlers as well as lack of playing time in the case of Jordan.

The Ghana FA has welcomed the decisions of the Marseille midfielder and striker to return to the Black Stars.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome your decision to return to action for the national team of Ghana, the Black Stars,” the GFA acting General Secretary Emmanuel Gyimah said.

“Your decision to return to action for Ghana will surely re-energise the Black Stars for our future challenges.

“We are confident that you will work hard in the team to ensure the continuous progress of our beloved national team of Ghana, the Black Stars.”

Ghana will play Zambia in their next match in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Kumasi on September 6.
