The Phobian could not seal a deal with the Belgian outfit following a standoff between his managers and club officials and has turned to Norway for a lifeline
Otoo, who topped the goal scorers’ chart at the end of the 2012-13 Ghana Premier League season, passed two medicals, but had to leave Belgium because club officials wanted him to stay on trials contrary to initial agreement.
Otoo has reportedly arrived in Norway to sign with an unnamed side.
Meanwhile, South African outfit Mamelodi Sundowns are on the sidelines hoping to hand the striker a juicy deal if he fails to seal a pact in Europe.
Other clubs who are also after the signature of the Phobian are Congolese giants TP Mazembe and Premier League club Sunderlands.
