Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has dissolved the board of the Porcupine Warriors and appoints Opoku Nti as acting chief executive as Dramani stays as coach

The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Life Patron and owner of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has dissolved the 12-man board of the Porcupine Warriors, Goal Ghana can reveal.

The Ashanti King has also appointed former player and ex-Ghana international Opoku Nti as Interim Chief Executive of the 22-time Ghana Premier League champions.

A seven-member board on Monday appointed former Ghana Bar Association President Paul Adu-Gyamfi as acting executive chairman after Dr. K.K. Sarpong quit his role last week amidst allegations of player transfer misappropriation and fans’ dissatisfaction with his policies.

In a related development, head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has been retained and is expected to lead the Porcupine Warriors in the next season.
