The Phobians have through mutual consent terminated the contracts of three of their players as part of a revamping processAccra Hearts of Oak are embarking on a massive overhauling and have terminated the contracts of James Bissue, Joseph Mugre and left-back Seth Owusu by mutual consent.
Goal Ghana gathers that the trio have received their contract termination letters and will not be part of the Capital club’s side for the coming season as the Phobians shop for new players to help their campaign.
The Phobians signed Owusu from Medeama last year, but he has failed to make an impact in the team and has effectively lost his position to Owusu Bempah whilst Bissue who joined Hearts of Oak from Maccabi Umm al-Fahm FC in January has also failed to break into the first 11 of the former Africa champions.
Mugre also bought from Sekondi Hasaacas has been virtually a bench warmer in the Hearts team making less than seven appearances in the Ghana Premier League last term.
In their place the Phobians are tracking Tema Youth skipper and Asante Kotoko target Jeremiah Arkoful, and Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Fumador with Amidaus Professionals forward Sellasie Adjei already bought.
