Lawyer, Paul Adu Gyamfi, has been appointed by the board of Kumasi Asante Kotoko to serve as the acting chairman after a marathon meeting on Monday.
Adu Gyamfi’s appointment is meant to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Dr. K.K Sarpong a few days ago.
He is a former President of the Ghana Bar Association and has been a member of the current board which was constituted three years ago.
Adu Gyamfi will supervise recruitment for the 2013/2014 season and the club’s participation in the 2013 Ghalca Top 4.
Kotoko’s financial position and the future of coach, Mas-ud Dramani are also part of the things he will be seeing to.
The board and the management will be doing their normal work until the owner of the club, Asante King; Otumfuo Osei Tutu II takes a decision regarding the future of the club.
