thumbnail Hello,

The Phobians have agreed mutually to let go their striker as they seek to beef up their squad ahead of the new Ghana league season

Accra Hearts of Oak have severed ties with striker Karim Sadat, Goal Ghana understands.

The Phobians are overhauling their side ahead of the new season of the Ghana Premier League. It is believed Sadat, who has been used as a secondary forward over the years, is moving due to the arrival of Amidaus Professionals striker Selassie Adjei.

Coach David Duncan is hoping to improve on the Oak Tree’s fifth-placed performance last term and has had assurance from new managing director Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe of management’s support to recruit young players.

The 21-year-old played for Ashantigold and Berekum Chelsea before joining Hearts in January 2012. He was signed during the tenure of coach Vucicevic Nebojsa.
