The Porcupine Warriors former boss says the truth shall set him free whiles daring Ghana FA capo Nyantakyi to produce evidence of any embezzlement through player transfer
The Porcupine Warriors boss has been in the news recently as the Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi accuses his administration of fishy transfer deals.
“There has not been a single occasion that my management under-declared monies realised from the transfer fee of any Kotoko player,” Dr Sarpong told the Graphic Sports.
The former head of the Tema Oil Refinery has dared the GFA boss to produce evidence and has accused Nyantakyi of twisting facts so far as the transfer of striker Ben Acheampong to Petro Athletico of Angola is concerned.
“I would not talk much. My children and, indeed, my entire family, are hurt by the false allegations against me and I know the truth would come out one day,” Dr Sarpong added.
Nyantakyi claims Dr Sarpong and his management under-declared the amount raked from the transfer of Acheampong, insisting that there were question marks over the $100,000 co-operation agreement fee in respect of the deal.
