The Under-20 World Cup Golden Boot winner has expressed interest to play in the English premiership or the Italian Serie A after an impressive outing in Turkey
The Black Satellites striker has been linked with a move to several clubs in Europe after his sterling performance in the Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey.
The 20-year-old grabbed six goals to finish as top scorer earning him the Golden Boot award as well as helping the Black Satellites to a third-placed finish.
Assifuah revealed his interest playing in the English Premier League or the Italian Serie A.
“I understand plenty scouts were in Turkey to watch us, but for me as a player the most important thing was to play my game and help my national team and that’s exactly what I did,” Assifuah told Goal Ghana.
“Every young footballer’s dream is to play in Europe and I think I have the same ambitions. I want to make it big, but in life everything starts with a step at a time and for me it will be a dream come true to play in Europe so if I get any offer which is good I will go.”
“I fancy playing in the English Premier League or the Italian Sere A which I enjoy most when watching, so if I get the opportunity why not because I want to play with a club in Europe and win Champions League,” the Liberty Professionals goal poacher said.
