Kwadwo Asamoah denies Muntari promoting segregation in Black Stars camp claims

The 24-year-old has jumped to the defense of his colleague insisting he is never the type who will promote disunity in camp

Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has denied media reports that his colleague, Sulley Ali Muntari is promoting tribalism in the team.

There have been media reports that the AC Milan player is mobilising the Muslims in the team against the Christians.

Muntari has been in the limelight for the wrong reasons after his gross misconduct following his substitution when Ghana beat Lesotho 2-0 in Maseru. The Ghana FA president has already mentioned he would be punished for that conduct.

There are also allegations that the former Inter Milan man is in a captaincy row with Asamoah Gyan.

But the latest report about segregation in the Black Stars camp has been rubbished by Asamoah.

“I don’t think this is true because I know Sulley very well and he is not the kind of person who would do such a thing,” the Juventus player accentuated.

He added that people should ignore such rumors when they hear them in the media.
