Maximum Briaschi, the agent of talented Ghanaian youngster, Amidu Salifu, has stated that his client has returned to his parent club Fiorentina after his loan deal with Catania ended.
“The boy’s future is still very uncertain. With Livorno there was a discussion last week, but then we did not reach an agreement,” Briaschi told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“Salifu is back in Florence and we will decide his future. Currently, there are teams who have requested for his signature, but the market has just started. There is time.”
The former Vicenza player has made 25 top flight appearances for Fiorentina and Catania where he was on loan last season and he is considered a budding star in Italian football.
The 21-year-old was signed by Vicenza after impressing in the prestigious Romeo and Juliet tournament in Italy and became the heart beat of the youth team before Fiorentina signed him in the summer of 2011.
