The former Tema Youth coach is the top candidate to become the head coach of the Blues
Amidaus Professionals coach Tony Lokko could now realize his dreams of handling a big club after the resignation of Berekum Chelsea’s technical director, Hans Van Der Plyum and head coach, Abubakar Yusif.
Lokko told Goal Ghana last weekend that he is now ready to quit the one-year-old premier league club for a new and big challenge.
The former Tema Youth manager also revealed that he had held preliminary talks with Berekum Chelsea.
Lokko’s chances have now become even brighter with the former champions now without a coach.
He was approached by Chelsea last year but refused to move to Berekum after insisting he had an unfinished business with Amidaus Professionals.
Lokko led Amidaus from the second tier to the top flight and helped the club to finish 9th in the league plus a semi-final appearance in the MTN FA Cup in their debut season.
