The newly-promoted Serie B side are ready to sign the talented Ghanaian youngster to beef up their backline
According to Iripinareport.it, the sporting director of AS Avellino Enzo De Vito is keen on the budding Ghanaian talent and has asked Fiorentina about his availability.
“Nortey is a player with excellent technical qualities. He is a left-handed and left-footed quarterback who owns a fast good shot and a great cross,” De Vito stated.
Fiorentina are eager to give the youngster out on loan for him to get more playing time which will build him up for a return to the setup of La Viola to command a regular starting place as coach Vicenzo Montella sees him as the future of his backline.
The 19-year-old defender who is very efficient in central defense and as a left-back has been very instrumental for the Florence-based club, and was key in the youth team winning the Primavera title in 2011 four days after he was signed from Triestina in a $450,000 deal.
