Ghana midfielder Yussif Chibsah Raman has been voted by fans and management of Juventus as the best among the youngsters they sent on loan last summer.
The youngster scored eight out of 10 on Tuttojuve.com to beat 21 other youngsters including compatriot Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and talented Dutch youngster Ouassim Buoy.
The polls was not only based on the quality put on display by the players, but also the space they have managed to carve or less during the season, Goal Ghana understands.
Chibsah, who is co-owned by Juventus and Parma, was in a fantastic form for Sassuolo playing 29 games and helping them to qualify for the Serie A for the first time in their history.
“The best is Yussif Raman Chibsah. He was better than all the other Bianconeris sent on loan last season. He had eight out of ten,” a Juventus statement said.
“A well-deserved award by virtue of his excellence, especially in the season final, where, despite his young age has made a decisive contribution to the historical promotion of Emilia. A generous and tireless midfielder that we are sure will make a mark.”
Nochi who was also on loan at Juve Stabia had 7.5 to come up in second place whilst striker Boakye-Yiadom and goalkeeper Leali who has longed been tipped as Buffon’s apparent heir and was on loan at Brescia placed third.
